Curing Type 2 Diabetes — New! At Last, Cure Diabetes Now

Curing diabetes has been at the forefront of medical research for decades. The “Why” of diabetes has befuddled millions in Establishment medicine for a long-time. In the mid-1900’s diabetes was joined at the hip with the “Cause of Heart Disease” crowd, blaming fat as the main culprit and then advocating a low-fat diet:

* obesity rates continued to climb with more than 70% of the population overweight

* people became fatter at an ever-quickening pace

* no one connected the dots to see that it’s actually carbohydrates that cause diabetes

Yes, that’s right! It never was cholesterol and fat, it was always carbohydrates that were doing the damage in diabetes. Let the shouts go up, the screaming and gnashing of teeth begin. How was this missed? It’s because medicine works mostly by belief systems and not by facts.

Why did the Establishment believe that fat was bad? It’s a long, sad story, but it has a lot to do with bias and self-promotion in medicine and science. It felt that the fat you ate became the fat that damaged body tissues and then stored as fat. However, the facts of biochemistry tell another story — it’s actually carbs that the body converts to fat!

Are you shocked? We’ve all been deluded because no one took the time to understand the basics. It was known by 1950 that the body aggressively converted carbohydrates to fat.

Since 2002, new, young researchers really looked into the low-carb diet. What did they find:

* body fat and body weight dropped faster in low-carbers than low-fat dieters

* blood sugar levels, the main culprit in diabetes, plummeted

* reduction in the dangerous fats

* the recommended low-fat diet was defeated by the low-carb diet

The low-carb diet is just what a diabetic needs to solve this disease. And changes happen rapidly when you decrease carbohydrate intake. Fat-burning increases and sugar use drops while blood sugar drops dramatically. Just what the doctor should be ordering.

Syndrome X, also known as Metabolic Syndrome, is a constellation of symptoms indicating serious disturbances in health:

* too much body fat, overweight, and obesity

* diabetes

* cardiovascular disease

* high blood pressure

Current research suggests that a carbohydrate-reduced diet may be the first and most effective choice for patients with Metabolic Syndrome and diabetes. If you are normal but suffer from these symptoms, then reducing carbohydrates is the only effective non-pharmacological choice.

The research is clear: the health-touting benefits of a low-fat diet were downright wrong and the science now stands behind this statement. The low-fat diet that was high in carbohydrates elevated blood fats and blood sugar leading to deadly changes in the health of the public.

A more disastrous combination could not be conjured up by Satan himself. Learn all about low-carbohydrate nutrition and whatever you do, don’t use Dr. Atkins’s plan and don’t do the South Beach Diet — it’s not even close to being a low-carb diet.
